Dow Corning 3099 HVIC compound is a grease-like compound specifically designed to give porcelain or glass insulators excellent resistance to water filming and flashover

Formulation adjustments have been incorporated into Dow Corning 3099 to extend the normal silicone electrical grease service life by maximising performance with respect to corona induced stress, UV, water and particulate pollution.

Dow Corning 3099 contains an arc track resistant filler that inhibits arc growth and extends working life whilst protecting the porcelain glazed surface
